Der Grivel G Zero ist für den gemäßigten alpinen Einsatz - also hauptsächlich als Gehstock - entwickelt. Die Plastikabdeckung für den Kopf ist abnehmbar. Das machts bequemer und wärmer auf dem Gletscher - aber auch langlebig beim Einsatz als Haue.

Die beiliegende Handschlaufe enthält einen praktischen Schutz für die Spitze.

Strong, lightweight, and super cool looking!
Went mountaineering and everyone thought my ice axe was cool looking and unique! In fact, I love it so much I just kept holding onto it and playing around with it even when I didn't need it haha. Thankfully we didn't have an opportunity to do a self arrest, but there were some more technical and difficult to navigate ice bridges where we needed the ice axe to grip and establish foot holds. It's solidly built, strong, and light weight. You can definitely trust it :)

It's an ice axe.
It does what it's supposed to. My only complaint is the strap. You cannot adjust the diameter of the wrist loop which causes it to slip off very easily and that renders the strap almost completely pointless. You might as well not have the strap at all because it actually slips off and gets in your way.

シャフト長５８ｃｍ。 身長158ｃｍの嫁用に買ってみた。 身長172ｃｍの私が使っても取り回し良く、特に不満無い。 グローブは厳冬期用を使うので冷たさは感じないが、凍って張り付かない黄色いヘッドプロテクタはなかなか良い。 ピックが磨かれていないので使う前に研いでください。刺さり具合は命に直結します。 またシャフトはそのままでは滑り止めが付いたグローブでも若干滑る感じがしたので「自己融着テープ」を巻いてグリップ感を稼ぎました。 ヘッドカバーとシンプルリューシュ付きで１万円以下なら買いですね。

exellent stuff
i am not going out for a ice wall . so this straight ace was the one i needed. right length and packs well with my osprey sack. i bought seperately rubber guards for the axe tips. the guard for the stem tip was already there.
